Preparing your students

You will have a distribution list for emailing your introductory message to your students.

The message should include how much time the students will need to devote to the course – about 60-80 minutes – and can remind them that they can choose to study in short spells if they wish; the system will maintain pointers to their place in the various units.

A target completion date is helpful – for example “You will be expected to complete the course by <Date>>”

Larger users can incorporate their introductory message into the emails that our system sends out when new students are added to the course roster.

With proper preparation of students and systematic follow-up, you should obtain high rates of completion and attainment of the course objectives.
